It isn’t the unveiling of the new Kia Niro EV that has everyone talking, as it had been expected for quite some time.
The real news is the vehicle’s 380-kilometer range. This fully electric crossover has a 64-kWh battery, making it a force to be reckoned with.
The Kia Niro EV was spruced up by the manufacturer, who equipped it with the latest technology and the latest generation in electric powertrains. The batteries, which have an extraordinary charge capacity, were designed using lithium polymer.
While the battery power is undeniable, the vehicle’s aerodynamic silhouette also contributes to its stunning performance. The flattened front end not only boasts a contemporary appearance, but also offers minimal resistance across a maximum surface area.
On top of all that, the electric powertrain generates a whopping 201 horsepower. The energy deployed by the Kia Niro EV will definitely make it fun to drive. Its accelerations will boggle the mind, without having a significant impact on the amount of energy expended.
The battery can be recharged so quickly that you’ll be ready to go wherever you please, whenever you please. A half-hour quick recharge will add nearly 160 kilometers to the counter. To fully charge the Kia Niro EV on a Level 2 charger, it should take a little over nine hours. Everything you need to go 380 kilometers without a care in the world.
We’re expecting the new 2019 Kia Niro to show its face in early 2019, so we’re dreaming of the day, not long from now, when we can tear up the kilometers comfortably installed behind the wheel of this technological wonder.
